Meet is a video conference tool for higher education. It enables interactive online lectures with features such as breakout rooms, screen sharing, shared notes and a whiteboard to support collaborative learning. Ideal for seminars, tutorials and group work, it provides a platform for effective communication and collaboration between lecturers and students.

MeisterTask

MeisterTask is a project management tool that facilitates collaboration and communication in teams and student working groups. The software allows tasks to be created, assigned and given deadlines. The Kanban board and a personal dashboard provide a clear overview of progress and individual tasks. MeisterTask can also be linked to other tools and be thus individually adapted to the workflow of teams.

ownCloud

ownCloud allows you to organize files, that are stored in a cloud provided by the GWDG. The access is independent from location or device and available via web or client. The synchronized files can be shared with graduated access rights and – among others – collaboratively edited in the OnlyOffice integration.

Pad

Pad is a markdown editor for collaborative writing and editing of documents in real time. Several users can work on a document in the browser at the same time, track changes and add comments.

Pad has a variety of functions, including real-time preview, line numbering, text search and keyboard shortcuts. The markdown syntax allows users to format texts quickly and easily as well as create slides and present them directly in Pad.

Projects

OpenProject is a software for comprehensive team organization and project management. Functions and visualizations support agile and milestone-based projects in planning and execution. Tasks can be created and assigned. The project progress can be scheduled and visualized clearly. Furthermore, a forum and a wiki can be used to communicate and exchange information.

Rocket.Chat is a web-based messenger for group communication. Users with a GWDG account can share files, images or videos via this intuitive platform. The web-based service requires no installation, but offers clients for Windows, macOS, Linux and mobile apps. A flexible solution for efficient collaboration in the office or on the go, with end-to-end encryption, various functions and a user-friendly interface.

Whiteboard

Collaboard is an interactive whiteboard that has been specially developed to promote collaboration in teams. It enables users to collect ideas in brainstorming sessions, plan complex projects visually and collaborate in real time across physical distances.
