Additionally, it helps with compliance with regulatory requirements, making it an efficient and reliable solution for chemical research.

Cocalc

LaTeX, Jupyter and Linux

CoCalc offers a comprehensive workspace for computational research and education. Users collaboratively edit LaTeX documents with live preview, code in Jupyter Notebooks (supporting Python, R, Octave, and more), or work directly in Linux terminals – all within a browser-based environment.

Changes are synchronized instantly across all collaborators in a project. Additionally, the platform ensures automatic version control through its TimeTravel functionality, allowing users to review or restore any previous file state.

CoCo AI

CoCo AI is our code completion service utilizing Chat AI. To use it you need a SAIA API Key. Many code editors feature LLM integration these days. We provide documentation for using the Continue extension for Visual Studio Code (VSCode), as well as for the Zed editor. Visual Studio Code (or Jetbrains) is required as your IDE (Integrated Development Environment) to use CoCo AI.

ePIC

ePIC is a service for creating and editing unique persistent identifiers (PIDs) that can be used to reference digital objects which have a valid URL, such as research data and documents, and make them permanently referenceable on the Internet. The reference stored in a PID can be provided with metadata, modified and resolved. The service is part of the Persistent Identifier Consortium for eResearch.

GRO.data

Göttingen Research Online Data is an online repository for research data managed by the Göttingen eResearch Alliance and is based on the open-source software Dataverse. Data can be stored, edited and published. Assigning metadata and identifiers (PIDs and DOIs) enables transparent and long-term sharing of research data.

Store and publish research data

Research data can be provided with information and stored by means of an input mask. Personal data collections are displayed clearly and can be easily managed using the version history. Entire data collections as well as individual data sets can be shared.

GRO.Plan

Göttingen Research Online Plan is a service to generate data management plans for research projects. It is managed by the Göttingen eResearch Alliance and is based on the open-source software RDMO. The service allows you to capture all relevant planning information – if desired collaboratively - and manage all data management tasks across the entire data lifecycle in one customizable document including versioning and permission management - the data management plan.

Mastodon

Mastodon offers an alternative to conventional social networks. The unique feature of the platform is the decentralized instances that users can join on their own. The Academic Cloud instance enables entry into the use of Mastodon and opens up a place for academic exchange through short messages and the ability to follow other individuals. Mastodon thus represents a diverse and community-oriented platform.

Open Research Knowledge Graph

The ORKG provides cutting-edge comparisons for specific research problems with detailed overviews. It features living survey articles through ORKG Reviews and collaborative literature lists. Key research contributions are described in a structured format. Hosted by TIB - Leibniz Centre for Science and Technology and university library, ORKG offers a dynamic, organized approach to research documentation and collaboration.

ORKG Ask

ORKG Ask is an AI assistant that extracts answers to a specific research question from close to 80 Million Open Access Publications. In addition to a short summary, ORKG Ask provides a tabular overview over the most relevant papers. For full transparency and reproducibility, ORKG Ask and all integrated third-party technologies are Open Source.

SHRIMP

Digitally shaping collaborative reading and learning

SHRIMP is a digital reading tool that supports students in academic reading and opens up new ways for lecturers to make text editing interactive and collaborative. Features such as annotating, commenting, discussing and linking transfer key reading techniques into the digital space and turn reading into an active learning process.

The TIB Terminology Service, based on the open-source Ontology Lookup Service (OLS) by EMBL-EBI, offers access to the latest natural science and technology terminologies.
