With the help of the URL Shortener, links can be shortened and shared in a simple and efficient way. Long URLs are thus converted into short, user-friendly links for social media, emails or other digital platforms.

Shorten URLs and make them readable

After entering the original URL into the mask of the web service, a shortened link is generated, which consists of a sequence of letters and numbers. It can be selected whether the shortened URL should redirect on the target page or lead to an intermediate page on which the actual URL is displayed.

Users can simply copy and pass on the shortened link to share the original URL. The shortened URLs refer to the target link for at least two years and are listed under "My URLs", where they can be subsequently edited.
