The Academic Cloud Hub as a communication and networking platform enables university staff, lecturers and students to engage in discussions about specific topics or projects and stay in contact with each other in communities across Lower Saxony.

Exchange and network across Lower Saxony

The Academic Cloud Hub allows individuals and groups to exchange ideas, share information and connect. Communication takes place in spaces, which can be created for specific projects, topics or groups.

Through individual rights management, spaces can be made entirely private, accessible to registered users only or public. There are additional configuration options for individual spaces, such as calendar, wiki and task planning widgets. Similar to other social networks, users can engage with each other in the form of “follows”, “likes” and “mentions”.

The notification feature provides users with a quick overview of topics and interactions they are involved in. Personal information can be shared in the user profile and on the own wall.
