Academic Cloud Operations Secured for Another Year in Lower Saxony

We are very pleased to announce that the continued operation of the Academic Cloud for Lower Saxony has been secured for another year.
This means that the Academic Cloud will remain fully available to all users at participating universities in Lower Saxony.

The following services will continue to be centrally funded and provided:

• Academic Cloud Base Module (IDM, authentication, MFA, administration portal, guest management, as well as basic services such as Pad, URL shortener, QR code generator, Filesender, and Mastodon)
• eduVote
• Events
• Sync & Share – Nextcloud including groupware & OnlyOffice
• GitLab
• Hub
• Jupyter
• Meet
• Projects
• Stack
• Survey
• Whiteboard

We thank all users for their continued support and look forward to further developing and operating the Academic Cloud together.

Collaboard and WooClap available until year’s end

Good news for all current users of Collaboard and WooClap: These services will remain available until December 31 of this year.

Please make use of the remaining time to back up your content if necessary and to explore possible alternatives. We will, of course, keep you informed about any further developments. We endeavor to extend the license.
